The year 2001 coincided with the Space Odyssey of Stanley Kubrick. Arthur Clark, co-scriptwriter and a science fiction writer, described in a book the symbologies created in the film in relation to the social, political and religious moment. The pictorial-dramatic combination of these elements permitted the creation of the reframings of a 17th century still life: bones, books, flag, weapons, chance… and the psychotropic gaze from the 1960s, submerging us in a journey to the vanities of the human being.
